Ainua architecture

Accounts and users

Data Items that is syncronized to Ainua Portal is typically something that is specific to some company or other account in the backoffice solutions. To allow a companys (or other accounts) data Items to be accessed by many users Ainua Portal has too level identity structure. Companies (or other accounts) are known as Accounts and individual persons related to the account are known as Users.

First step to establish this structure is to enter Accounts and Users into Ainua Portal. Second step is to define which User can access which Account.

One Account can have multiple Users and single User can access multiple Accounts. When a User with multiple Account signs in to Ainua Portal client, he/she is promplted to select one of the Accounts.

Data can be entered in as targeted and non-targeted Items. Non-targeted Items are available for all Users and Items targeted to a specific Account are accessible only to the Users who are bound to the Account.

Profiling

Profiling enables a powerful capability for hyper-personalized experience in Ainua Portal. Both Accounts and Users can be extended with profiling information originating from one or many backoffice solutions. This profiling can be used to define pages visibility and as filters for data Items.

When profiling is used in conjuction with data Items content in filters, the entire experience can be precicely targeted for Users.
